Sales

Welcome to our sales page. We mainly have our own foals for sale. However, we have an extreme soft spot in our hearts for Thoroughbreds off the track needing a home. We don't go looking, but a few tend to find us during the year. We are not a broker, we just enjoy finding homes for horses needing to be loved. Along with our own sale horses we also list for our clients and friends.

Also visit our Foals page to view those currently for sale.
If interested in any inutero foals, please contact us.

Benlea Winding River "Benny"
Benny is a 13h registered Section B brown Welsh pony born in 2003. He is a flashy boy with three expressive gaits. His sire is Benlea Rambler, whom is also the sire of Pony Dot Com (Benlea Playboy) and is out of Benlea Sea Tango. He comes from lovely successful bloodlines that speak volumes in the show world. He won High Score Championship with Maryland Dressage Association against some big Warmbloods and TB's. Benny has two successful show seasons in eventing up to BN. June 2011 he won Low Scorer of the day with a 9 year old. He will be successful at any discipline. Benny has a very lofty jump with correct form. Would not consider him a first pony for a youngster, but he is great for novice and above riders. Goes in a nice easy liene bit. No martingale or gadgets need to ride him. $8,500 OBO to a great show home

Carlita
Carlita Carlita is a 2006 Warmblood Cross mare. Her sire is Holsteiner, Costner who is from the Holsteiner Cottage Son xx line through his grandsire Corporal being one of the few who carry these lines in the US. Costner passed his temperament and willingness along to Carlita to be a wonderful mount for any discipline. Along with her sire, there is the who's who on her dam side as well.
Her dam is Leah who is by Citation King Leo, a registered Quarter Horse with the sought after old foundation Leo bloodlines who has produced top show horses in many dsicplines, both english and western. Leah's dam, Appendix Dori Lea is by Secretariat passing along famous TB lines. Carlita is currently being trained and ridden hunter since 2009 at Halft Halt Farm. She competed successfully for two years at the 2'6" level at our local show series. She is certainly capable to compete at larger shows and higher levels, however, finances have played a part in restricting her show record. Not only would Carlita be a success in the hunter ring, but she is super bold and honest to be an event horse. She has not competed in the eventing circuit, but she has hacked out alone and in groups quietly and trail ridden with no problem. Carlita is a wonderful mare for lessons, hunters, eventing, jumpers or dressage for adult or experienced child. As of May 20th Carlita currently has solid simple changes on turns, straight always, has clean flying lead changes and about a month away from having her auto changes back. She is scheduled to show twice in May and June of 2013. Video's are available for serious buyers only. A great home is a must for she is only for sale due to lack of time! $15,000 Please call 443-307-1400

Chopin
2009 Bay Holsteiner/TBX gelding. Super friendly guy! Should mature around 16.2. Should be great for any discipline, but especially eventing (due to his very quiet demeanor; however, not limited to). Nothing phases this guy! In November will be going to professional trainer for 30 days to start handling, basic routine daily work and just getting used to tack (will not be breaking due to age). He went back to professional training December 1, 2012 for u/s training. Showings will be begin January 1st. Asking $10,000 Can be shown anyday of the week after 3:30 and on weekends as long as there are no shows. Located in Chruchville, Maryland

Leah
Don't forgot a great trail horse! Leah is 7 years old and a wonderful trail horse. She is 3/4 Quarter Horse and 1/4 Thoroughbred. Goes anywhere!!!! Video of her sire, Citation King Leo, can be found on YouTube. $4500

Rumors'
Veronique Mallet's 7 year old filly, Rumors (Rosenthal/St. Pr. Pijou) is a flashy Black Registered German Oldenburg. She is a proven producer of premium foals and in 2004 she won "Born in The USA" Award at Devon with a score of 85.5%. She was broke professionally for 90 days in '07 by Klaus at High Point Hanoverians. She then took a break to be a mom. She's had two lovely foals, Spumonte by Sinatra Song (sold) and Dia'mante (for sale) by De Luxe. Rumors is bred for versatility with three impressive gaits and a big, powerful jump. She has the potential to be a great hunter/jumper/dressage prospect. Continue to check back as we update our website to see fabulous pictures of both her and her offspring. Currently schooling BBN with many first places with event rider, Pam Bartholomew. She is making her debut at First Level in August 2011 (schooling Second Level). Sadly for sale due to financial reasons $35,000 to good show home only.
