Mares

Our mares have remarkably friendly, kind temperaments that we look for in producing successful offspring. Each mare has correct confirmation that will be passed along to each of their foals. Whether they are a warm blood or a TB, they have pedigrees for producing talented, athletic foals. We pride ourselves in treating these gals as equal as our show horses, for they are a large important segment of our program.

Strong, powerful mare with excellent scope and the hind end for upper level dressage movements, as well as, a top competitor in jumping. Small white star and coronet band. Impressive bloodlines for all disciplines.

Kathmandu “Kat” - Registered 1995 Bright Bay 16h+ Holsteiner/TB. Career includes riding under reknowned hunter rider, Scott Stewart. Great mare for producing proven hunter/jumpers and dressage prospects. Proven producer of premium foals with the ISR/OLDNA, RPSI and KWPN. ISR/OLDNA and RPSI Main Mare Book

Happening Baby "Baby"- Registered 1997 Dark Bay 15.3 ½ h. TB. Wonderful friendly temperament. Proven producer for her fabulous personality! Has small white star and hind left sock. Has large floating gaits for any discipline. Sadly, Baby passed away June 14, 2008 along with her Scimitar baby, Sophia, in a lightning storm.

Perfect Response "Libby" - 1994 registered JC 16.1 hand chestnut TB mare. She successfully evented at the preliminary level and level 5 jumpers. She has 3 beautifully balanced gaits and a powerful, very balanced jump. Libby returned to the showing arena in 2008 while in foal with her first baby. Fantastic temperament.

Miami Mist "Mimi" - Imported registered Swedish 16.3 ½ hand bay mare. Successfully shown under Kent Farrington and the Dignelli's until she had a tragic accident at a show in a portable stall. She has had 4 lovely offspring and 2 of them were by Rio Grande.

Y'all Come "Reilly" - 1996 registered JC 15.3 ½ hand bay TB mare. Very stout, muscular mare. She comes from a line of black type winners. Outstandingly quiet temperament . Reilly had a terrible injury in a stall while in training as a youngster. Sadly she passed away June 4, 2007 along with her Scimitar foal while delivering.
